| Job 1 Assistant Engineer - Rivers | | | Job Details: Our Client is looking for an Assistant Engineer to undertake flood defense and fluvial engineering works, including river modeling, for various public and private clients. - - Candidate will be expected to work with a small team plus specialists to deliver flood risk assessments, flood prevention scheme designs, river modeling and mapping, economic appraisals. Candidate will report to the Senior River Engineer and Team Leader (Line Manager). Candidate is required to have knowledge of Civil Engineering, Hydraulic and hydrological modeling, familiar with relevant legislation (PPG25), Economic Appraisal (FCDPAG) and experience of Environment Agency and flood schemes in Scotland an advantage.
