The client has been established for 30 years and enjoys year on year expansion and has now opened offices in America. With a turnover in excess of £30 million they current export 80% of all good produced with the majority of business done in Europe. They are looking to expand the business in the UK and consequently this is where this position has evolved from. They are looking for a NEW BUSINESS WINNER previously they have had sales engineers in this role but they have proved to be too technical and lack the ability to CLOSE business. The ideal candidate will be based in the North of England and used to selling a technical type product (preferably from a chemical/mechanical engineering background) into markets such as Pharma/Const/Aviation/Automotive they must be able to demonstrate previous wins and show the value of these wins in these markets. They must also be degree educated and have a good technical understanding. The may involve some time away from home so candidates must be flexible and able to react to the business requirements quickly and effectively. Most importantly this is a position for candidates who can WIN new business who also has an understanding of the engineering field. In return you will receive a first class package of which my client is very flexible with their most important criteria being getting the right person. We will not provide UK work permits.
