Calibration Engineer - West Midlands, Midlands

Job Ref. :uker15334 Calibration Engineer   Job Location: West Midlands, Midlands   Terms: Permanent only   Salary: £25.20ph Job Details Leading automotive organisation requires a calibration engineer to join their highly skilled powertrain division. All candidates will require a minimum of three years experience with engine management calibration and/or practical EMS modelling/simulation experience with an exposure to tools used for development & testing of engine management systems. the successful candidates will be responsible for engine/powertrain control development, driveability calibration and validation, desktop calibration techniques and document calibration methods and data used to develop driveability calibration. The ideal candidates will have automotive electronic controls experience and a thorough understanding of the petrol GDI combustion process and its impact on driveability although this is not essential. We will not provide UK work permits. Please ensure you are a UK/EU resident or have a relevant permit.
