They now require an Electrical Design Engineer to work on their modern manufacturing plant. THE ROLE As a Mechanical Design Engineer you will design new products to customer specification. Design and control new Mechanical componentry and assemblies using solid edge cad. Create and maintain parts, bills of materials and assembly routings. Communicate and liaise with internal and external customers. Develop and test sample parts and assemblies. THE CANDIDATE The ideal candidate will be qualified to HNC standard, or minimum of ONC but willing to study further with company support. You will have Product Design and CAD experience (preferably you will be familiar with using Solid Edge CAD). This role requires a flexible approach to work with a willingness to develop skills and knowledge in line with business needs. Our client is offering an attractive salary and benefits package to the right candidate, £17,000 - £25,000 + Benefits (Pension, 5 weeks holiday, half day Friday).
