Turning over nearly €1.25billion the companies are now established around the world in various markets and this global presence is ever increasing. They are currently looking for a Plant Engineer to work in their Operations division reporting to the Engineering Manager. This is a key role providing engineering support to the production departments resulting in optimum availability and performance of production equipment. You will be involved in project management of new and improved plant installation and complete projects as required to improve equipment reliability and operational productivity. You will monitor equipment performance and design out recurring problems. You will be responsible for mechanical design of tooling and fixtures and equipment sourcing and specification. Providing guidance and training to engineering technicians to improve maintenance effectiveness is required. It is essential to provide support to the Product and Process Development teams where necessary. The candidate they are looking for will have a strong background in electrical engineering especially in programming of PLCs and motion control systems. We require someone with Higher National Diploma, Bachelor Degree or equivalent in Electrical, Electronic or Mechanical Engineering We will not provide UK work permits.
