| The Employer
This Employer is a leading international engineering and management consultant, specialising in all technical and commercial areas of power generation, transmission and distribution, and their associated technologies. With headquarters in Southern England, close to London, and offices throughout the UK and in 60 countries worldwide, they are enjoying an expanding order book, including regular, repeat contracts from satisfied customers. Determined to maintain their enviable reputation in the face of this increasing demand, they urgently need to fill these vacancies with self-starting individuals: innovative engineers who will thrive in this fast-moving and challenging environment, and who will welcome the responsibility, appreciation and reward which their commitment generates.
The Roles
The vacancies cover the full spectrum of substation design, application and condition assessment engineering, at voltages between 11kV and 400kV, for both Utilities and Contractors, and including the power T&D, oil and gas, offshore, wind-farm and other renewable sectors. Typical projects encompass overhead transmission lines, underground and submarine cables and all types of primary and secondary plant found within substations: power and instrument transformers; HV circuit breakers and isolators; surge arresters; control and protection; etc.
Working sometimes on your own but more often as a member/leader of a multi-disciplined project team, you will be responsible for the engineering itself, or for the management and/or approval of that engineering. |

We will not provide UK work permits. Please ensure you are a UK/EU resident or have a relevant permit.
