| An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Civil Water Engineer to fortify the existing team of my clients business in Grangemouth. A leading provider of services, engineering and equipment for industrial water and wastewater treatment they have offices in both Scotland and Europe. They provide a one-stop shop for all industrial water cycle related needs. From raw water to wastewater treatment, we can provide our customers with operations, maintenance, engineering and equipment solutions.
They employ over 800 staff throughout the UK and Europe and house more than 200 site operations and maintenance contracts.
This position requires a Civil Engineer will take an active role as Designer on small and medium sized water and wastewater projects from Appraisal, Select and then onto the Define stages in Grangemouth refinery.
The work will involve taking a significant (possibly lead) role in the design development of various projects on site. The work includes site wide drainage, fire main options, cooling water pipelines, Effluent Treatment Works refurbishment and general process plant projects. It will also require the interpretation of topographical & soil investigation reports for incorporation into civil engineer design.
You will be responsible for appraising different WwTW improvement based options by assessing the current WwTW module capacities, structural integrity of different process units in conjunction with available flow, chemical composition and consent data.
Part of your role will be involved in the detailed design of Wastewater Treatment works. |
