Job Ref. :uker16189 Foundry Manager   Job Location: Ipswich   Terms: Permanent only   Salary: Competitive Job Details Based at our facility near Ipswich, the Foundry Manager will play a pivotal role in the continued growth and success of our organization. You will be a fully qualified Engineer / Foundry Professional with the ability to take control of busy Aluminium Foundry and Fettling/finishing department. The appointed person will take full operational control and day to day Management including Sub Contract operations, including Profit and Loss responsibility. The challenge will be to drive process change across the production facilities, to reduce rejects/rework, and to utilise Lean Manufacturing Techniques to maximise efficiency, and reduce leads times, and improved on-time deliverables. Applicants must be enthusiastic Team Players, with solid experience at Mid/Senior level, willing to work in conjunction with our Machine Shop Manager and Quality Manager. The role offers scope for progression to Board Level. In addition, your excellent leadership/team building skills, outstanding communication ability, passion for the industry and “Can-Do” approach will ensure you become a major force in shaping the future of our company.
